Make of this what you will, to me it shows that the universe is not as simple as we like to think. Faith is as important to humans as air. Without faith there is no reason to live. Humans must have faith in themselves, their future, the shared reality they perceive. To help them make sense of the perceived world they have invented many philosophies, religions, and other belief systems. One question they seek to answer is what makes us alive, and what happens when we die. Almost all belief systems postulate an energy being called a spirit or soul, which, for some reason, they believe looks like them. Some belief systems have a universal realm to which all spirits go, others have two or more with different conditions. Many of them, while they can not explain what makes a person alive, think that only humans have spirits. Though they know that all living things die, and they do not know what makes those things alive either. At least one group believes that human spirits are reincarnated as people or animals until they achieve enlightenment. Physics does believe that e=mc^2, therefor it follows that m=e/c^2. This would allow the energy of spirit to create the matter of body, though this does not answer any of the preceding questions. Nor does it provide a reason for the spirit to do this. A key tipping point was where the permafrost started melting and dumping large quantities of Methane into the atmosphere, where it traps 80 times more heat than CO2. A large natural source of methane is biological decay, this is especially an issue from thawing permafrost and methane outgassing from limestone deposits in which it has been captured and retained by cold temperatures. Fuel cells, which produce water vapor will change one problem for another. While this might be beneficial in some dry climates, it would not be so good in other areas, like the grater Los Angelis swamp. If large amoun8ts of water were dumped into the atmosphere in the Los Angeles basin, it would create a rainforest like environment It would create swamp like conditions throughout the basin. This would be detrimental to such agriculture as exists in the area, being detrimental to both the economic and environmental well-being of the area. Electric vehicles, while not producing either of the exhaust issues of fuel cells or petroleum powered vehicles do produce ozone as a function of electric motor operations. While I am unsure of the amounts that would be produced, it definitely should be considered in any planning for transportation in that area. Population density alone is not sufficient to cause system failure, a certain lack of uncertainty about the future, lack of respect for traditions and history, a contracting social presence, and a disrespect for the rights and life of others. To a degree narcistic behavior exacerbated by self-selected social media and lack of traditional values of any system, religion, or philosophy is represented by social aloneness and ostracism and acting-out as a means to be relevant. No human is taught that they are irrelevant, though the entire planet could fall into the sun tomorrow and the universe would continue on just as it has for millions of years.
